I'm afraid both Henrik and I have looked better; he appears apprehensive, I simply appear to be a goon. We are seen here at the trailhead of the Guadalupe Peak route. Guadalupe Mountain rises to roughly 8000 feet above sea level, if I'm not mistaken, and is the highest point in Texas. It's quite beautiful, although I've not been to Big Bend, supposedly the jewel of Texas Parks. (And I don't care! So there!) Suffice it to say, it's much prettier than Houston. Actually, that doesn't really suffice. Parts of Yonkers are more beautiful than Houston.
